Panelsan Increases Capacity by 50% with a New Investment

A 50% Capacity Increase with the New Production Line
Our production capacity increased by 50% with the commissioning of a new sandwich panel line, representing a €10 million investment in the Çekirdeksiz Organised Industrial Zone. Boydaş highlighted the importance of the new line's capacity and efficiency in meeting growing project requirements. The interview also noted that energy efficiency, urban regeneration, post-earthquake reconstruction, data centres and logistics investments are creating new areas of demand.
Energy Efficiency and High-Performance Solutions
Boydaş emphasised the need to consider thermal insulation, durability and certified performance together in roof and façade systems. The article covered Logiccore Prestige's thermal conductivity of 0.018 W/mK and its approach to achieving equivalent insulation performance with thinner panels. It also described the wind-load and hail-damage resistance characteristics of FM Approved products in the Logiccore FM series. The roof system and solar-energy investment should be assessed together for each project.
Investment in Kazakhstan and Equipment Renewal Plans
The interview also addressed the production investment in Kazakhstan in partnership with YDA. Boydaş stated that production was planned to begin in the first quarter of 2027, with total investment expected to reach €20 million. He also outlined a planned €1 million equipment renewal programme for the EPS and moulded products group.
